Great series of pictures! How did you enjoy the ballooning? I went once, and it was incredible, but scary. (I'm not much for heights.)

I take a little bit of pride in being able to get photos where the General Population usually isn't allowed but the Inside a Balloon I have never been. Kudos.

It must have been fantastic!
I'm very much looking forward to part two.

"I can't come back! I don't know how it works! Good-bye folks!"

I told an intimate friend yesterday the gravestone story, the mid-air story, and the ring story, and then I confessed the awful(ly apropos) remark I made after your balloonists returned to earth . . . the unfortunate Wizard of Oz reference that earned me a jab in the ribs from Rob, and instead of wagging her finger at me she cheered and answered, "You said that for C.!" She was absolutely right. It's not something you could have pinned to a white sheet basement wall, but it was a sort of cryptic love note all the same.

Caryn, I got the heady experience of standing on the ground and taking pictures of my dad as he went up in a balloon to propose to his fiancee. Whee.

jk - waHOO. It's not often I can get one up on Mr. Thing of the Moment. I will dance now.

Anne, your wish is my command.

Stare! Thanks for dropping by, & double-thanks for the nifty link.

Geo, you may never know how much you did for me this trip. And I've posted that love note to the white sheet on the basement wall of my heart. Or something.

How romantic! A proposal. I trust she said yes...
