I love these things. My husband works at a hospital, and he's described similar ratings sheets--maybe they're even the same ones. Oh, and Jason, your comment made me laugh out loud. Lost his balloon? Priceless.

That was exactly my thought when I saw this posted on the wall of the prep room, Jason. I tried drawing my own version of "excruciating," but really, why mess with this gloriously inapt rendition?

Caryn, it could very well be the same one! I've been seeing it everywhere during my recent adventures in the world of medicine.

Yup. I asked Tim and it is exactly the same one. He and a coworker work for six 13-hour days in a row, and they say their attitudes follows the chart as the days wear on--hers goes from left to right and his from right to left.

Same here in Deseret as well, only without so many languages, as I recall. I coudl never get my face to line up with any of these round guys so in touch with their feelings.

well, i think i'd feel excruciating pain had i lost my balloon. i like the spanish and the tagalog
